whenever i hear people talking up how great dubstep is, all i can think is 'man they are gonna feel real dumb in about three or four years'

and it's really nothing new.
I found some stuff in my collection from early gloryhole era - Bill Laswell (one of my fav bassists/producers) did an album of dub mixed with hard drum n bass with big wobbly distorted bass synths.
that was "dub n bass" which is nice! much nicer than this dubstep craze.
