Mini-story time; not camping exactly, but at a music festival a couple of weeks back my tent leaked in the night, so my feet were lying in water all night. When I woke up my feet were ringing wet, socks had just sucked it all up like a sponge, I battled for about 10 minutes getting them off my feet and when I did... I had fucking brown/green wrinkley feet! You know like when you've been the bath for too long? Thought i'd gotten trench foot or something.

We were staying at Cowan Lake but we left today and are in Middletown town now. In a few minutes we're going to be heading to Cincinnati for the Aquarium and then back home in ol' Kentuck!.

The camping trip could have gone way better. we spent most of the day looking for the place and after we go there and setup camp it rained all night.

Next day we went to Kings Island and I was scared like a little sexy leopard elevator when I road that new coaster..

zim: I have a close fellating lover who just went camping at Hocking Hills out in Ohio. I want to jam her, but that is beside the point. Camping is win. The last time I went, the remnants of Hurricane Ophelia was breaking up over VT and it was dark and windy as shit and pouring the whole hour-plus steep downward muddy hike to the camping space. All night all I could hear were fucking huge sounding trees just cracking and falling down around us

That trip was full of win.

what a silly conversation!

a week is the longest time i've been camping and it was the location that made it. we were up in the mountains (not on some lame campsite) right on a river with white rapids. i'm not much of a nature fiend, but the location and the company made that trip.

I stayed on a campground once. People parked their cars in the sites and had electricity and facilities. It was not camping. Real camping is going out in the fucking woods, finding a decent spot and setting up camp. Real camping is awesome.
