Going to the moon would not have been possible if it weren't for Wernher von Braun and his V-2 rockets, which killed thousands of British people and thousands more slave laborers died during the building of the rockets.

this is true. and it's also unfortunate that he wasn't the spokesperson for NASA (mostly due to his uhh ethical background) because the space program would have been more than likely far more advanced than it is now since NASA had a lot of it's funding pulled after the Apollo missions.
