I need help in locating a store that sells a brand new EMG 81 active humbucker pickup from the get go within said area. I can't seem to find someone that sells this sterile, lifeless, no-character pickup anywhere over here so I'd rather get said pickup from the states A close acquaintance of the I will be leaving for LA at the end of the month and I need to tell her the particular store that sells said lifeless pickups so she can purchase them for the I.

Someone suggested that I look into Sam & Ash or Guitar Center outlets around the LA area but I wouldn't know as I'm more than 7,000 miles away. Others suggested that I look into craiglist but that would be sketchy. Any help would be appreciated. Preferably somewhere close to Glendale as that is where she will be staying.

If guitar center in hollywood doensn't carry an emg 81, then you're just not going to get one.

emg's and seymour duncans tend to be the most commonly sold pick up's at guitar center. i've never not seen them in there
