I'm looking for ones that sound good but don't take up a shit load of hard drive space.I recently installed the Edirol Orchestral vsti and am surprised how good it seems so far.You guys know of anymore I could check out?Any instruments even keyboard/synth.



Not huge files please..Only working with two 35gb hard drives

i like absynth for synths

Depends on what you are looking for. Absynth is cool if you are into sound synthesis (the absolute king for that is Omnisphere though), but it's much more for soundscape type of stuff. If you are looking for Symphonic VSTi's, your best option is Vienna library or EWQL Symphonic Orchestra. Since you want some stripped down versions, try to track down EWQL Symphonic Orchestra Silver Edition (Platinum is the biggest, and it has something like 30gb). I say Silver Edition because it's like 2gb or so.
