I am pleasantly surprised
That those who like this album haven't been trolled/flamed to death, considering how much negative feedback it's gotten. I expected to be attacked for enjoying it, and it makes me happy that for once a minority opinion can be respected on an internet forum.

Re: I am pleasantly surprised
Really, I have stated that I like this album numerous times, and to my knowledge I haven't gotten one negative response. I'm honestly shocked!
MABB still has more win than most things.

Re: I am pleasantly surprised
Getting flamed for liking something is stupid. It is the way people forced their opinion down others their throats which met with strong responses.
I think it is great you like it. Enjoy it!

Re: I am pleasantly surprised
I am enjoying it very much...There's some really weird shit on this album, and that's what I expect from MA....Honestly, the thing I like most about Trey is how out there his guitar playing is, and the further out there it gets, the more I will enjoy it, methinks.
I can recall Trey saying in an interview 5-9 ish years ago that Morbid Angel may eventually cease to resemble metal at all...and that's fine with me, as long as it's Trey doing Trey. It might not always turn out the way one might hope, but as long as he's a nutcase and you can tell that from what he writes, I'll be a fan.

i disliked this album so much that i don't even care enough to get angry about it. i knew it would happen, i'm just pretending it never happened.

Its because once you admit to liking this album, you cease to be relevant.

honestly probably biggest disappointment album for me in my entire life, but I'm not going to try to ruin someone's fun if they enjoy it!

WTSL was the only person that was really getting 'attacked' over it, but he's a gigantic retard and does nothing but deliberately provoke people and then cry about the response he gets. also he is sexually attracted to david vincent.

If WTSL does come back, I do not anticipate any change in his annoying, shit attitude.

Re: I am pleasantly surprised
The thing that weirded me out the most about WTSL was that he said that he got a big grin on his face the first time he heard Radikult. I guess I can see how maybe it would grow on you over time, but your first reaction is "I'm glad Morbid Angel did this," seriously? I don't get it. At all.
And then he recommends a bunch of NOEVDIA bands and says he's friends with Watain, Funeral Mist, and Deathspell Omega. None of it makes any sense.
And yes, the whole "masculine sexual charisma" thing stands out as well. Wow.

Those NOEVDIA bands were a reply to someone who wanted to know more bands from this label.
I didn't read him saying he was friends with those bands though...
Seriously, he lives in Denmark - and is friends with Watain, and fucking DEATHSPELL OMEGA???? HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAH

I don't really believe it either, but it wouldn't be a strange thing if someone from denmark knew them.
