Everyone with opinions I trust say T4 really blows. I plan on seeing it when it comes out on video.

As for picking between T1 and T2 that's hard, I grew up liking both.

There's a lot of reasons to like movies. I heard T1000 was done on an Amiga- thats reason enough for me.

wtf? How is T2 winning? The Terminator is far, far superior to everything else in the series, a really gritty, scary sci-fi...

I detest the fact they turned Terminator into a run of the mill hollywood action franchise... I mean, the first one is fucking awesome, Arnie is perfectly cast as a SHIT SCARY killing machine, there is a constant sense of clostrophobia, desperation and futility throughout... it's almost a horror movie. T2 was just a bunch of big budget action scenes strung together behind a rehash of the first film, a whiny little prepubescent screaming git and a million F words. I mean, it's a good action film, but it's not a scratch on the first imo.

T3 is just pure dogshit... comedy does not belong in these films, at all... and it also contains my most hated film scene of all time; the bit where arnie is in a car chase and he's swinging around on like a fire engine or something? There is no music at all in the scene and about a billion and one really really REALLY shitty sound effects... it's like the sound engineer just went through his collection of samples and went to town... seriously, by the end of the scene you'd expect if Arnie moved his little fucking finger there would be a swoosh sound, it's that bad. And to top it off the hard-on bearer who plays John Connor is a total salad bar, who the fuck cast that awkward looking weedy doofus?

I've yet to see T4, I seen some episodes of the series they made and thought it was pretty dire.
