I may be able to get an NJ Series Mockingbird second-hand for around £180 and was wondering if anyone had any experience with these guitars and had any advice or ideas about this.
I've been thinking about getting a new guitar sometime soon and was pretty much settled on a Kramer Striker but thought this could be a worthy alternative.
Any ideas?

What NJ Series you mean? The 2003 Korean one with a Nato body? I had a NJ Warlock from that serie:jack input, licensed floyd rose and pickups was big crap. The neck was ok.
That newer NJ Deluxe Warlock is much much better guitar.
My advice: don't buy it! Try to find a nice japanese Charvel on Ebay.

i have an NJ mockingbird from around '04ish. it's not bad, only real complaint is the stock pickups are fucking garbage. build quality and components and whatnot are perfectly fine, i haven't had any issues with it in that regard.

I think I'll pass on this one then. I really need a new guitar but I'd rather wait a bit longer and get something I'm sure about. Thanks for the info though!
