What sevens are you thinking about? I strongly recommend the RG 7620. It's a fucking monster!

hot fucking diggity, ibanezrules has some of the WHP 1451's in stock, it's a bit more than the NC/AG models, but i think i'm gonna grab one when my tax returns come in. i'll probably get rid of my mockingbird and RG7320 to fund this, since i don't really have space or need for 5 guitars anyway :greenie:

I like the guitar but had trouble with the sides of thet bridge enclosure. My hand did not rest comfy enough with damping.
actually may get this instead <!-- m -->http://cgi.ebay.com/Ibanez-RG7321-7-Str ... 43a69d3ef7<!-- m -->

dont really need the floyd rose system, as i doubt i'll be doing any sort of crazy trey style widdling on it. that and i need money for other things, sadly.
Go try one out before you bid on it, and just because of the fixed bridge.

I had 7321 few years back and sold it because of two things. a) Buyer payed me 100€ extra of the price I had payed. Seemed reasonable as that was one of the times when I wasn't playing that much and b) The small string height adjustments screws on the bridge ARE pain in the ass when playing constantly.

Regardless these two points on me selling that 7321 away, I just bought one again few months ago :D

I will try to get you a good picture of the bridge so you can get the point I'm trying to make.

Pros: I really like the neck on these 7-series. Plays well and the body resonates nicely.

Cons: The floyded model has the same standard pick ups, which do suck ass. And the electrics are something that you need to be fixing every two months.

Here is the bridge.

the MKIV Supra behind him is the sexiest piece of equipment in that photo. since trey has typically been an adherent of american V8 RWD cars, it's safe to assume that's not his though. wonder who owned that

And you definitely WANT to do that Skinner, the one I had years ago used to pop strings on the bridge like there was no tomorrow, due to cheap ass metal getting sharp on the saddle :frown:

Just a dream guitar though. I've been hearing I bet it's gonna be ridiculously overpriced. I always loved that setup the most.

Dude, I just received 6 piece set of those string savers and replaced old saddles with new one. And I can confirm that the obvious problem was fixed.

Now I just need to buy one more set of these to replace the last saddle. phuuh.

I'd like this Mathias Dammann classical guitar, but at $35,000 it will have to wait for a while.

Yeah. It'd better come with my own personal hooker (with a lifetime warranty on all orifices).

My thoughts exactly.

I already play a warrior, so i wanted something i could gig in a rock context. I look on it as a nice alternative to a les paul/PRS.

That is how Bernie Rico intended his guitars when he started building them in the early seventies.

High quality, made from the best woods with exotic shapes.
