Piano Interpretations - Bijimitsu

Post by zim »

I've always wanted to learn how to play the Piano but I've never bothered. After watching this guys videos over and over and hearing that he is self-taught I think I'm going to buy a keyboard and take a crack at it. :thingy: :xx:

I prefer the piano to the guitar.

Here's some death metal classical piano! The rhymthic complexity is mindblowing. (it's Gyorgi Ligeti's Etude No. 13 "The Devil's Staircase")

Hell yeah! I attended a lecture by him and some killer pianist years ago where he discussed and the pianist played some of his Etudes. One of them has 4 separate melodic lines--and each is in a slightly different tempo! I can't imagine getting something like that into your brain and fingers.
