favorite morbid angel sound?

heretic is my favorite sound of morbid angel albums. in my opinion.



the sound very unique nature and u can know it is the heretic by just listen.

Blessed are the sick appeals to me the most, but I'm very much into the end 80's/begin 90's sound.

Covenant comes 2nd.

Formulas 3rd, the rest is ok though, apart from Heretic which could have more 'bite' or 'crunch'



What I think is very bad sounding is the remaster of Altars of madness: much too clean

every record has its nice sound edges imo.

but i'd go with f g h

f is oldschool raw with this hymns in it

g atmospheric (if you listen to it with headphones there are some little fucked up soundthingys )

h has a bit weak sound but its a taste thing i like it and with headphones you just can figure out such cool little additional things

Covenant or Formulas. Probably Covenant because of it's atmosphere, fruital vocals and great drumsound. Formulas because of the great solotone/guitarsound etc.
