THE MORBID ANGEL MANSION

Post by Humwawa »

I just found this interview with Karl Sanders on youtube where he talks a bit about him staying at the Morbid Angel house for a few months back in the eighties. Fun to hear this  It starts at 2.50 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTLVczYbgAg

He states David had the MASTER bedroom  Definitely, as he is the one and only DOMINATOR :grimsanta:

It would be awesome if Richard could tell us some more stories about those days. Seems very wicked to have all these futur death metal masters sharing one place and creating their evilness :xx:

When I spent a day with Dave, Pete and Thor last year in Brisbane you could notice that Dave is the frontman on and off stage. In regards to planning and what to do and such.

I was more creative in my nocturnal days. There is a direct connection there.

Richard: What horrible ancient things did Karl leave in the toilet?

i read the whole book and there are some nice little things about the morbid mansion..

one day trey ran out of his room with a napalm death lp in his hands (scum) and shouted: "man thats insane you gotta listen to this they calling it blasbeat !"

and after that they rehearsed stuff like it and went to fucking hyperspeed.

I thought Trey's infatuation/interest in blasts came with ND's second album.

another small story: sanders told something about the daily 500 watts stereo battles between trey and richard ...actually the man behind drums had not much money in this period to get records of extreme metal bands so he just playd his maiden collection at 45 rpm and told erveryone it's as fruital as the other extreme shit :redneck:
