Your music is pleasing to me and your list of influences is even more pleasing. I will say this though, I really wasn't expecting your vocals to sound like that. I was expecting them to sound like the desperate cries of a mountain during childbirth.

I dig. I have always hoped for a surf rock/death metal hybrid. While you're not what I imagined it to sound like, I still find your sound and approach enjoyable.

yeah, I really went out on a limb with the vocals and did a more diverse style switching between thrash and whatever....

my other bands are more of a standard death metal approach.

I'm annoyed that I didn't hear Thracia sooner. I recall you mentioning them when you'd only just joined or formed, but it never occured to me to check back. I'm very keen on this stuff sir :xx:

Why thank you good sir.

Thracia is more or less broken up now. We just haven't had that talk, we haven't practiced in months and haven't played a gig in probably 2 years now. Our main songwriter goes through periods of just enormous apathy where he just seems to want to party and shit, then when he gets in the mood to play, we get together to bang the rust off our old shit and he wants to rewrite all of the songs we've been playing for years. and I tell him, no leave those songs be and write something new....and then everything just kind of goes back to not doing anything.

I announced at our last show that we wouldn't be playing another show again until we'd completed a full length record. The band was unaware that i'd be saying this, it was my way to kind of motivate them to actually get with our recording hard-on bearer and get it done. They responded completely opposite of what i hoped and just did nothing. And here we are however long later. :frown:
