what do you think of bands playing in drop e and dropping their bassist all together? seems to be a thing with a lot more bands these days.

Not a big fan, b standard (demanufacture, most crowbar) is the sweet spot I think, although I do like a lot of albums in standard A and drop A, but it gets too a point where it gets too much. Anything below that is eehhhh

Primitive man immediately come to mind for a band who plays in A.

Doom/sludge is probably the most acceptable ridiculously dropped tuned guitars

I havent played in drop d in forever.
Pretty much since I got a guitar with a locking system. Pain in the ass

that's why you gotta buy like 6 guitars
The. Urge. To. Buy. Them. ALL.
i have 5 six stringers right now, all with floyds. all in different tunings never really been a fan of drop tunings tho, prefer the standard positions

I have 3, and I only really started like a little over a year ago, played bass for good while though, am decent.
sg copy - standard, E flat, drop d with 9-42's
Les paul copy - D and C standard, drop C with 10-48's
Schector omen 6 - usually B, drop b, A and drop A with 10- 52's
