Lyrics/song titles are becoming stupid, boring, unoriginal

Talk about the classic Dionysian passion. Post the genres, eras, albums and bands that whammy your bar. Try not to post gloryhole era threads.

For example I saw this topic, "When the sun drowns in dark"

Yea so what? What happens when the sun drowns in dark? Evil triumphs?

Come on you asshole lyricists. Talk about something more meaningful rather than faking it.

High on Fire is another.

I can understand being high on drugs. Even life. But fire? It's a stupid, stupid name for a band. You don't get high on fire. You burn to death on fire.

Or man of steel.

How can a man be made of steel? Flesh and blood maybe, but steel?

Surely a man of steel would be a statue.

Possibly by renowned british sulptor, Anthony Gormley.

That's why I prefer instrumental music.
I am the Dragon. And you call me insane. You are privy to a great becoming, but you recognize nothing. To me, you are a slug in the sun. You are an ant in the afterbirth. It is your nature to do one thing correctly: Before me, you rightly tremble. But, fear is not what you owe me. You owe me awe.

Imran is right but the problem is that all the genres were invented. Rock has no more boundaries to reach.

halfstein's band is awesome. wormlust. seven paths is the song, referring to (i think) the seven movements in the song, which is a cool throwback to classical music titles.
Treys solo tone actually sounds a bit thin to me on Domination. It's definitely got a wah sound to it, even if he's not moving it with food it sounds like he has it turned on.
