iron and wine

Talk about the classic Dionysian passion. Post the genres, eras, albums and bands that whammy your bar. Try not to post gloryhole era threads.

iron and wine

Post by cat hallucination »

the extreme opposite of metal but..

nothing fancy but always deep real and rocking. (check out the back up singer chick dancing with the tambarine :jizz:....she's the singer's sister  ) this is probably the kind of music i'd like to play, especially since i'm no virtuoso. and my grandma would probably be devastated if i played in a band called morbid angel.

and, in case you've ever been a struggling artist, have you ever just collected yourself and strummed on your instrument and listened to the beauty of a major or minor chord alone? eastern religion and martial arts always speaks of the importance of humility. to me, this can strike as authoritarian and an obligation, but in the case i just described, its refreshing and beautiful. forget your vision and identity. just appreciate the sound of a chord. :interessant: :xx:
