Adam Curtis...anyone familiar?
I've been obsessed with swallowing everything this hard-on bearer has created since watching the incredible "All watched over by machines of loving grace" a 4 part documentary of how machines are/have taken over day to day life and influenced belief systems.
It's nowhere near as NDMG as it sounds, I'm well aware that it's mainstream media still but even with a hint of fact behind the revalations/subject matter in this documentary and his others it goes a long way to explain a lot of things that weren't that clear, at least to me, prior to watching through his programs
Adam Curtis (born 1955) is an award-winning British documentarian and writer. He has also worked as a television producer, director and narrator. He works for BBC Current Affairs. His programmes express a clear, albeit sometimes controversial, opinion about their subject.
this one is for Erm - It may be old news or skewed but fascinating vewing nonetheless. All about how America has bullshitted, blindly forged ahead with it's global posturing and the creation of the Taliban/Al Qaeda as an inadvertant response...

this one is also essential viewing
