whats that, i know the general concept of the law of conservation of mass? is it the same thing? i watched a docu. on stephen hawking the other day where he proposed that the universe might have just simply appeared out of nothingness, which is consistent with an ancient greek myth that god is chaos, or caos, or kaos...the nothingness, the abyss, out of which the universe just simple appeared.

right, and i don't actually believe in it. its just pretty awful to imagine. speaking of the word awful...i don't think i've ever heard it used like that until now. its in the dictionary though, and makes a lot of sense.
