Did Trivium's Matt 'lill Heafy (or who ever he was) really have that much influence going to Gibson that they actually made a seven string? I never expected this to happen with Gibson, never!

This has been around for almost a year now...
I found out about this guitar a few weeks after i placed the order for my custom explorer 7 string. At first i thougt it was cool but after seeing all the specs, .....I'm glad i got the custom one...
It has a Gibby scale which is a big mistake IMHO. A seven needs at least a 25,5 scale neck.
Also what's up with the chrome on black and that fucking pickguard..
They should have gone for a 7st version of the explorer 84.
