the flaming lips
goddamn this band is glorious. barring maybe one or two of the earlier albums (telepathic surgery, oh my gawd!!, are the two lackluster entries that come immediately to mind) i really can't find fault with their output. surely there must be someone else here that appreciates them beyond that one big famous single from the early/mid-90's

I'm probably two notches above "hard-on bearer who's only heard the single". I should really listen to more though, there's a definite gap in the market for happy bands like them, Polyphonic Spree and to a lesser extent Andrew WK
