BURZUM: preview of Belus!

Talk about the classic Dionysian passion. Post the genres, eras, albums and bands that whammy your bar. Try not to post gloryhole era threads.
at least 95% of the reviews anywhere and everywhere are utter shit.
fix'd :redneck:

but seriously, MA is no different than any other place. once you get to "know" the few reviewers that are good and/or have similar taste, just forget about the rest and you have a pretty decent source. the main difference is that there's a shit ton of people posting reviews there so there's a greater chance of finding someone that fits the previous description (and a greater amount of pure shit). and that makes it more useful than 99% of other review sites/webzines on the net, imho
anus reviews are so pompous its ridiculous

*insert unnecessary fancy musical terminology*
as far as i know, his style of writing (prozac's) is sort of a parody on reviews of classical music. as much as i dislike whole elitist thing going on there, i think its pretty obvious hes not that dumb to use all those big words just for appearance.

i've read a couple of "conversations" between him and other people on NWN forums and, i think, MA and he's no more than an eloquent troll. he's an idiot with access to a thesaurus and was put in his place pretty much every time he tried to "act smarter than thou"
so uber grim kvlt proves to be a complete dumbass once again
And how is this? That you guys have a reading deficiency?
nah, that you said it sounds like "generic black metal" and "isnt the burzum we're used to." this is basically a successor to filosofem, written some 15-18 years after all that material.
Not really. Its very different, and in many ways it does not live up to the expectations. I know ANUS is really pissed.
cos they dislike varg after he told them to stop putting words into his mouth and twisting his ramblings to fit their own agenda. it sounds exactly like filosofem with different vocals and no ambient tracks
Their justification for that was that he doesn't understand the internet, and the people running his website try to twist his words into some Neo-Nazi type thing.

I disagree with the Filosofem assessment. Listened to both albums today, they are very different.
honestly who had any expectations for this album
Yeah you're right. Deep down I knew it would not live up to the past.

lmao how is this "very different" from filosofem? at the most this could be a combo of filosofem and the self-titled, if you wanna push it.

I just realised if you spell "MABB" backwards it spells "BBAM".

Not sure what significance that has to anything, but god help me I'm going to figure it out.

That's a horrible thing to say. Take that back. Take that back at once. Or I'll not return your copy of Swan Lake. (Swan Lake :xx: )

Just watched Fantasia. Maybe the best thing Disney ever did. It does get a bit gay at bits during the second half. What with the unicorns and such. And then the hippos doing ballet.

This is may be the most Metal thing ever though:
