For like 20 seconds I thought it may have actually been from the album. Then was like, "Hold up, this sounds like. . ah yea there it is."

Re: on a scale of 1-10, how bad is the unspoken king
yah, what the fuck happened to this band. i know there was the departure from their old sound from that one classic album, then there was the hard core vocalist and that extremely awesome album with the train on the front, then there was lord worm and a return to the old sound one once was not, then flo said something in an interview about liking chimaira, now this.
Treys solo tone actually sounds a bit thin to me on Domination. It's definitely got a wah sound to it, even if he's not moving it with food it sounds like he has it turned on.
I dont think Eirc is with the band any more. I dont even think Chris is either
I JUST WISH IT WAS THE era of the gloryhole AGAIN.
I've mentioned a couple of times before that i dont really mind this album. The vocals are uber ghey, But songs like contemplate regicide and the first track are pretty good.
I think that, much worse than the music, was Flo's pathetic attempts to defend the bands collective mindset shift from
to
I remember i noticed flo getting a bit rockstarry when i read a OWN interview where he said 'it's so great that you can hear everything on this album.' I mean the drums couldnt possibly overbear anymore than they do on OWN. Granted, there are fuck all riffs worth talking about.
EDIT: i vote it a 6-7.

On a scale of 1-10? The fail of the unspoken king cannot be expressed with such small integer values.

I'd vote it probably about a 3. Contemplate Regicide (which was one of the songs written when Worm was still in the band) is good and the musicianship is top notch. Too bad the shit they're playing is...shit.

Re: on a scale of 1-10, how bad is the unspoken king
I bought this album on a whim. I did not enjoy the previous outing with Lord Worm, and I figured that a new vocalist plus the old music was a winning combination. Would that someone been there to tell me how mistaken I was in my assumption. Fuck this album. I'd burn this before even considering St. Anger for the pyre.
I also like ...And Then You'll Beg more than any of the other albums. What can I say? I've come around to the Mike DiSalvo era. Shroud and We Bleed tickle my pickle.
