Password recovery doesn't work

I have no clue what my password is I want to post using the new pc but I can't :(
 
I used the 'password recovery' form but I get no response in my mail box. This might be something our admins want to look at Who knows how many lazy and forgetful members we've lost

I chose to install Ubuntu but that wants to see an HDMI cable From one problem into the next. I think I will like Ubuntu though, once it's running. That Windows10 automatic update is a self destruct, strange work
