Need some info on Origin

Post by zim »

I want to learn and play some Origin - I think they tune to Drop B (i'm not sure yet)

What gauge strings would you guys recommend I get for my 6 string? And maybe some info on the spring set up for my Floyd? :santa:

moving from a garbage disposal back to the dumpster but it’s an improvement nonetheless

I use Ernie Ball Not Even Slinky strings on my six-string and I think I can get comfortably down to A tuning. I normally play in C and I am begining to think that these strings are way to heavy for playing in this tuning but they may be fine for what your playing in.

Not Even Slinky are: 12, 16, 24p, 32, 44, 56

You may even be able to get away with a gauge higher, if you don't mind the strings being fairly slack.

I can't comment on the Floyd Rose setup, my only guitar is a shitty stratocaster copy with a fixed bridge that I bought from a fellating lover

Spring setup with a new tuning/string gauge = trial and error.
