Blessed review Aardschok

Post by Humwawa »

Hi guys. A question for the Dutchies on this board...

Over the last 20 years I collected the full series of Aardschok (Dutch metal magazine), except for one: AMH 1/91. I assume it contains the review of Blessed are The Sick and I'm just dying to read it once (or even better own it). If I'm not mistaking, it was reviewed by Robert Heeg (great journalist!) and it probably got a 10/10 :gay: (obviously...).

Would some of you perhaps be the owner of that copy and post the review here? You would make me a happy man!

Yes, it's technical, fruital, and heavy...

Exactly. Wim Baelus was a league of his own... he was quite rebellious in his language (pushing his own grammatical style) and at least he didn't think of his readers as being stupid retarded people. Plus he always recognised the genius of Morbid Angel, even when it was fashionable to criticise them in the early 90's.

He's Belgian, but has a academic degree in Dutch (Neerlandicus)

Like a scarlet aura of dripping blood...

In an early Cannibal Corpse interview he asked Chris Barnes if he had actually tasted human flesh on which he replied "None but my own!' and thus he bit his own arm and ripped of his own flesh. This is of course fiction....(and then the interview began)

At some point he was talking about 'uni-dimensional faecelia', which would mean something like 'droppings of multi-colored measurements' some hard-on bearer wrote a letter about it because he didn't understand it anymore
