on a floyd rose guitar set up for a classic E, on a different semi-tone is a so big danger for the bridge???



I'm fuckig tired of the E tune, i want a E-b molle. Is just a semi-tone; but I don't know if is correct do it before setting up the bridge and the neck

Tune to Eb, put slightly heavier strings on, adjust the springs in the back accordingly... what's the problem?

Aod you would rock the SG suitably sir, perhaps a Les Paul. fuck that springy gay widdle rock guitar out of the gay man's telescope and get some decent vintage furniture!

If, as you say you should stay away from licenced Locking trems. You Should also forget about al those "real" Floyds which are on BC Riches, Deans, Jacksons etc. too. "original" Floyd roses are made by different companys in different series nowadays. Chinese, Korean and German. Greatly varying in quality. And are thus also licenced Floyds



OFR's used to be made exclusively bij Schaller in Germany. Their own Schaller licensed Floyd Rose II and III (loprofile) are even better quality than the OFR with many great upgrades.



Ibby Edge, LoPros and EdgePro's(made by Gotoh), as wel as Gotoh Floyds and al the OEM made by Schaller are great trems. Takeuchi makes a fine trem also.. As does Ping.



There are many bad copies but also a lot of good ones. A lot of the bashing is from hear say, and incompetence of the user.

A while ago i gave a little step by step tutorial on how I set up a Floyd. Take a little time to get to know your instrument. It is not that difficult if you think logical.



Not every strat has the trem snug against the body. A lot of them have a little space between the base plate so you can do the vibrato.

when changing tuning you have to reset springtension the same way as on a floyd.

you're the boss! i hate floyd rose anyway. i had licensed floyd rose on my ex korean bc rich nj warlock,and that thing was crap. i also had a kahler system on my charvel model 4,that thing is a little better,but i sell that guitar for a good les paul handmade copy.

Haha I can understand peoples frustration with floyd rose, but when it works and you learn something about it. It's great.
