acoustic guitar and harmonica

anyone play both of these together? i have neither but i've been having the urge to venture into this area after listening to so much neil young 
at my local park here in shanghai 60yr olds do harmonica battles in front of vast crowds and it is considered good old harmless socialist fun but you can see by looking into the old-timers' eyes that they are fucking serious and the crowd is rabid and things could go awry at any moment. also let's not forget highway 61
