It's a modded Epiphone V. It was a limited edition in 2002 i think...

I bought the UV7BK back in 94 if i remember correctly.... for 1300 Dutch guilders secondhand. The UV7PWH has it's home here since 2003. By the time it got here from Jamaica (!) it cost me around 1500 euro's.[quote name="Maze"]Uni777

For bass i use the twins with a Hartke head and 4x10:

It's Diamond series Omen-7, the cheapest one there is by Schecter.

How's the neck? Mine is pretty fat compared to my universe. I prefer my explorer and RG prestige. The RG has a Ultra neck which is beefier, my explorer was made after that, only 1,5 mm thicker along the whole neck.

Aye, about the same calibur as with your schecter I would assume; Thick and heavy. If I compare it to the RG7321 that I used to have this is way fatter. But I like a bit 'fatter' necks; Dean, Gibson. The neck in that BC Rich is very much thinner then the other two.

I used to have Schecter Omen 7 Diamond Series. It's totally whorthless. Pickups = SHIT. The neck = Like a fucking baseballbat. It's CRAP. I got a Ibanez RG7620 instead (wich you can see in my pick). I loooooooove it.

Really? It is a pic i found on the site of drumcity guitarland. I bought the guitar because of its 26,5 inch scale. More out of curiousity and i got a good deal. Still they are more expensive over here than in the US.

Luthite. Awesome basses. Very comfy for guitarists who pick up a bass occasionally.

Why does the one on the right have red strings? And if it's to tell them apart, why do you have two of the same thing?

Re: Your guitar collection

They both are stringed with the DR red devils now. This pic was taken just after i bought the left one.

I have two because i always want to have a backup at a show.

Never intended to have two identical ones. But i stumbled on the second one by accident and it was so cheap that i bought it.

I used to have a Rickenbacker as backup but with the short scale and a "A" tuning it just did not work.

*edit* you can see which is which by looking at the way the serial number is put on the back of the head. Also the knobs are different.

Recently i spent a day cleaning and setting them up. They play almost the same now. I mark them with a piece of Gaffa-tape to see which is which on stage.

Yes you are right i showed some on MABB 2.0

There have been some changes though.

I was lucky enough to own, or at least try out everything i wanted.

What i have left is what i really like playing wise.

There are a few i have which are only here because i love the shape. The red and black Ironbirds (both mark 1) are plywood guitars. They have a great setup so they play nice but sound very sterile because of the plywood. Weird thing is that while they lack the more complicated harmonic content in their sound they are very articulated with low tunings, fast playing and heavy gain.

The black one i bought for 25 euro's. The Kahler which i put on there is worth more than eight times that ammount. But is was a nice learning curve to install it myself. I just need to find a couple of secondhand pups to put in there...

The blue mark1 ironbird i have is awesome, but because of the shorter scale lengt difficult to get properly intonated with lower tunings.

do you know the year they're made?

The MarkI shape is the Ironbird shape before the Class-axe period. The markII shape is smaller more curved and has different angles. That has nothing to do with the bevels.

Some MarkI's have no bevels but radiused edges (Like Tr3y's), some have bindings with an edge like a LP and some have very large bevels.

The blue one is a IG-400 Japanese one made in 96. The two other are begin 90's i think. But they have the same bevels my 85 Ironbird had.
