Do you use your pinky to sweep? i prefer not too because my hand gets all smushed up and poopy, so i just use my pointer, middle, and ring fingers

I don't like play solos too much so do I need to answer?

i do use my pinky, but on the really high notes, very high up the neck, it's better not to use it.

i never use the pinky unless i absolutly have too, regardless where i am on the neck

I use my pinky a couple times during sweeps, usually to start the sweep off or long stretches and high notes. Although I always use my pinky in for rhythm playing. USE ALL YO' FINGA'S FOO

I have long enough fingers, and if i need to stretch that bad, i can just tap..my pinky just gets in the way most of the time on zi sweeps

I use my pinky for everything, even pentatonic wank, an I have long fingers too. No idea how anyone could play any wide sweep with 3 fingers.

I use my pinky for everything... no other fingers allowed this is the true way of playing guitar.

I have a bent pinky so it is a stretch to use it in fretting. I can mostly manage though.

Yes, I use my pinky. I have huge hands, so there's a certain point where I do/don't, but I generally use the pinky as a way of making my fretting more economical.

I'm a pinky advocate.
