I loaned my Carvin 727 to a fellating lover of mine a while back, and now he's apparently homeless. His family hasn't seen him, he has no phone number or anything where I can get a hold of him. It's my favorite guitar, and it looks like the dude's taken off with it.

i learned about letting friends borrow things the hard way.. sure do miss my very first copy of diablo, my old beginner amp, and a few other things

If I were you I'd run out and check all the pawn shops in your/his area

I wound up putting up a $100 reward to everyone he knows if they can get me in touch with him. I'm 99.9% positive he still has it, because I talked to him a month back, and he said I could come get it. It's the only guitar he's got, and he can't go a few hours without playing.

Now why whould you loan your favorite guitar to ANYONE? As much as i would like to help somebody out...

I have a few that i would not care about but my favorite, never.

It's become my favorite since it's been away. It wasn't the main guitar I was using then. At the time, we were in a band together, and he brought it back every week. But yeah, I feel fucking stupid.

Apparently after I got into contact with the hard-on bearer's family, his dad went P.I. and tracked him the fuck down, and got my guitar!! I'm fucking thrilled (and aware how lucky I am to get it back).

Photos of my baby are impending, once I get off my ass and find my camera.

I had kinda quit playing out of sheer depression with guitar in general, and at first he was paying $10 a week for it, and I needed the money.
