Can I get some opinions on this interface?

This is right in my price range and I've heard great things about it. It's sold out on musicians fellating lover and amazon. I found a new one on ebay for $140 though

I'd say: go with "tried and true" interfaces that have a good reputation. Presonus firebox/inspire, M-audio Fasttrack Pro(fukket has this I think), some firewire M-Audio interface whose name escapes me at the moment. Can't speak for TCE interfaces, or any others honestly.

The Presonus firewire secretary of state cubes work with vista x64.

Research an M-Audio Profire 610. That is the best smaller interface you can buy, but I'm not sure how it fares on Vista x64 so I'd definitely look it up first.



They retail for $400 I believe, but you can probably find one on ebay/craigslist/etc for ~$200.



A mixing console like that really is not necessary unless you're doing a lot of automation etc.
