That's the first decent looking guitar from BCR I've seen in years. A fixed bridge and gold hardware would be more fitting though, but it looks nice.

Same goes for this one:

the headstocks really look like dean headstocks

The tops on those guitars are sexy.



Oh, and black hardware all the way. I'm not really a fan of any other colour except maybe on Les Pauls or the like.

Uh...dean kinda copied that headstock from B.C. Rich. They've had that since aaaaages ago.

I play Ibanez, Jackson and ESP. I have a very old BC Rich and I do like them, but I really don't like the wood color design of those models.

The purple one is awesome tho!



BUT if I'm going to buy another guitar, it would either be a Gibson LP or Mayones.

maybe it's because i'm just used to doing vocals as well, I dunno, it always seemed like a pain in the ass, and one other thing to fuck with, so I never bothered

actually tonight i'm going to try and switch my bridge pickup volume knob with the spot my switch is on



sometimes when i flip the switch up or down during play i hit the knob and it messes with the volume

I mean, it's not that big of a concern to me. It's a very minor thing when i'm doing vocals, dicking with a floorboard, and trying to keep tabs on the rest of the band to make sure they aren't fucking up, and communicating with them. When you end up in that situation, let me know how high up on your priorities that is.



Besides, in a live situation, how often do you observe someone in extreme music bothering to flip their pickup switch, when entering and leaving a solo? Not often, and I'm sure there's a reason for that.

The switch is not that wel positioned on the Xiphos. On an RG it is easier. I am gonna change the position of the switch on mine, as i constantly switch pups.

It has become second nature to me. I do occasionally fuck up changing presets on my floorboard though.

i'll echo all the pro-black hardware sentiment, i can't think of any guitar offhand that looks good with gold.



i'm terrible at multitasking when i play, i've never been able to maintain concentration and swap pickups mid-song or what-have-you



those are some sexy looking BC's though, for damn sure.

i actually had a chance to dick around with one of these years ago, it was a fully tricked out US custom selling for somewhere around $3k used at a little old shop near where i used to live. ugly as sin, but it was the most amazing guitar i've ever laid hands on. the playability alone made my beloved RG570 feel like a squier strat by comparison. ever since then, having a US custom BCR of my own has been the dream guitar of choice, but man, they're just so expensive, i don't think i'll ever be able to justify that kind of expenditure :\

great that bc rich hold back the ironbird



for me the best-looking guitar. I also own this one as japan edition and an original ironbird bass

the ironbird is quite awesome
