Anyone ever messed around with one of these? They are supposed to be teaching guitars but they're also midi controllers. For only $210 it seems like something that could be used for a lot of fun at home with some midi programs. hell, i want it just for the piano sound, way cheaper than buying a guitar synth.

it looks cool, but if you're thinking guitar synth, i say hold out for the synth. if you walked onto stage with one of those things at a metal gig, i'd stone you.

this is EXACTLY what i've been after for years!
A guitar that is a midi controller (and not having a $1000 Roland Midi guitar pickup on it)

i dunno. i'm not sure i could cope with the lack of string-tension on something like this, the idea of it just seems really unintuitive. the lack of that sort of natural tactile feedback you get accustomed to, it seems like it'd be real shitty.
it does sound good though, i'll certainly give it that.
