well, the only thing I can recommend is DFH Superior2, that is if you have a good computer and lot of space on your hard disc. I don't, so I use EZD, but not entirely. I like interface and the way EZD works, but not samples it comes with. There's this little vst called apptrigga through which you can replace EZD samples with some other samples.
I thought that maybe you meant on this, because you have a word "replacing" in your original post.

I've been tracking my drums in FL Studio 8's demo for simplicity but the limitations are a whore.

EZDrummer sounds pretty good, I like the drumkit from hell expansion a lot more than the default setup.

I use fruity loops with my own samples, coz it's a piece of piss
If you then ever need to make something pro out of it, then just export the track as midi and give it someone who knows what they're doing. Let them worry about great complex awesome drum programs, not you!
