yeah, trey's microtonal horned strat looks amazing. i made a thread on that a while back, in fact.
i would love if that ibanez production model came to the US. at $600 i'm sure it's not very good quality or anything, but it'd be cool to be able to at least try an instrument like that out without having to pay thousands for a one-off custom (as i assume you would need to for any other microtonal model).
but, that video is over 2 years old and i doubt there's been a single word about a western release. assuming that idea probably got scrapped somewhere along the way

Theres a hard-on bearer who posts on NBB who plays in a band called Inevitable End that uses quarter-tonal guitars in his side project. It sounds fucking insane.
Also there is a fair bit of quarter tone subtlety on the last kate bush.
