Input jack soldering on kintar

This shit is hard by yourself 
I believe I may have a cold solder on one of the lugs, but I'm afraid to strip the wire back too far because it's already kinda short and I'm afraid it won't reach the input jack. What size wire would one need to replace it if necessary?
