how is the direct recording? my line 6 pod pro hd was a bag of shit

sounds really good, need to do some more tests now ive had longer with it

a dude in Sydney I know - basically THE session king (does all the TV, ads, famous-person from O/S backing band) just got a deal with these folks and has been talking about it non-stop.

he said is really cool & gets great sounds for all the stuff.

i feel like it would be almost pointless to buy one though, they're so fucking loud. if i was in a somewhat serious band i'd consider it.

ive turned my half stack on once since i got the axe, played for about 5 minutes then turned it off

i have a peavey 5150 and a randall v2 archetype (though this is just waiting to be sold) into a orange 4x12



i have a pedal board with a few things but its just a tube screamer and a noise suppressor usually.

just got around to watching a bit of the Meshuggah bonus DVD - see they're using Axe FX
