I'm torn between spending at least half of my $1000 income tax return on a half stack or a new(er) drum kit. Bought new cymbals last year. Thoughts?

Anybody have any experience with the Randall RX120 half stack? For five hundy, it looks like a pretty solid amp.

Yeah I'm thinking if you go for 2nd hand stuff, you could probably get a killer amp and half a drumkit.



No idea about the randall stack. If you're gonna go solid state, get an ampeg vh140c if you're in the states. Suffocation tone in a box.
