when it comes to digital stuff, I prefer Line 6



but I'd rather stick to analog wins, even boss has some analog pedals, funnily enough they're usually the cheaper ones

There's a comparison video on the tube between the PS5 and a behringer pitch shifter, and the behringer sounded way better for a lot less.



I had a NS-2 and DD-3, worked/sounded great, each cost me 60$ I believe. I'll definitely get a NS-2 (noise supressor/power distributor) when I get an amp again, because it really did wonders with high gain settings.

to my knowledge the behringer pedal did not exist when i bought my PS5, which was quite some years ago

I've used the ever living fuck out of my boss compressor, tuner and chorus for about 12 years and they have never failed me once, I'd say that's value for money

The new price for some of the boss fx is obscene, but thankfully they are so common 2nd hand that you can get them for 1/2 the price.



I want to get myself a collection of joyo analog pedals, shit looks like insane value. Thank god for Asian slave labor!

For some reason, there seems to be an abundance of folk who shud these things after a while for more 'organic' pedals for a certain amount of years but in the long run they always come running back to them.

I haven't abandoned mine.

Easy to shun in a studio and there are a lot better analog pedals to play around with (I haven't tried many) but for immediate wankery and/or sudden gigs, I prefer ye olde Boss MT-2 through a tube amp.



Otherwise, Line 6 pedals or processors for goofing off at home or in a studio. Or in a studio at home. Fuck Digitech.

This thread reminds me that I do actually need a metal zone myself. Problem is the available metal zones at our local craigslist equivalent are all those with the various mods and such. I need a stock MT-2.
