i love ibanez but my choice would be the schecter to have smth different... with the maple neck, etc.

Neither.

Do not like the longer scale length on both. The Schecter neck profile is awkward to me and both have Pup's i do not like.



As alternative for the Schecter i would choose a ESP of which the body was copied for the Schecter. Or a Jackson 7.



The ibby body style is copied from different brands also in a uglier version IMHO. I prefer a regular RG shape.

Out of the two I would pick an Ibanez, but out of ANY guitar I would pick a Gibson SG, or another guitar of the SG style.

I'd go with a non-tremmed loomis 7 over those 2 any day
