i haven't played along to anything for almost a year, mostly been focusing on my own jammings. but i do love to jam other music on guitar. been thinking about learning more but not sure which direction to go.



i'd like to jam some origin or ulcerate, but those songs would be a bitch to learn by ear and the tuning i just sard.

When I play bass I love to jam out to some Mercyful Fate. Timi Hansen had some great lines on the first two albums.

I usually jam along to songs when i need to work on rhythm techniques and do not want to play to a click. For instance working on downstrokes and stuff i usually jam along to some metallica to warm up. Battery, Puppets, Disposable H, Damage, Blackened. After that i set up a metronome faster and chug along to that.

On occasion I jam some MA esp. the faster songs for precision in my playing. This means war is a cool one. At rehearsels we play Dominate, Dawn o/t A, Pain divine and Blood on my hands on occasion so every now and then i play along with those to keep the details right.

I usually jam some LW Cryptopsy, MA, Terrorizer, old Death and even some Behemoth.

I spent my early teens playing ABCD of Morbid Angel.

between the buried and me songs are fun to play along to, specifically ants of the sky and prequel to the sequel
