Yeah sure! I do critizie it aswell, but I can still enjoy it. If you did your absolute best in the songwriting and recording then you just have to give yourself some cred. Otherwise you will kill yourself as a musician in the end of the day.

Aye, I do. If I can't stand listening to it, it gets dropped.

I hardly enjoy listening to my own stuff - i'm too much of a perfectionist and it really backfires.

Hence I hardly play anything anymore. Just record and produce music, and do vocals.

I'm seriously thinking about selling all my guitars, maybe even my universe. It's just gathering dust. It's too much of a great instrument to have lying around, doing nothing. :frown:

I enjoy it alot, brings you back to the times surrounding the writing and recording. Plus I always try to write stuff I am into so enjoy listening back with a critical ear.

I can only listen to it if I'm playing it or playing along to a recording of it. I can't just sit and listen, I start coming up with things I wish I'd added or done better.

I listen a lot to the recent (last 4 years or so) stuff I've recorded anything old is in the permanent archive and shall remain unlistened to.

some of it. it depends on how well it was aged, and the circumstances surrounding it. i like listening to the more folky stuff i did when i was in my early twenties. that stuff has a better shelf life than the 30 some odd hardcore/grind bands i was in from my teenage years. i find myself listening to some of the balkan and klezmer music that i drummed on pretty frequently.
