Can't find a seven string set that doesn't feel loose to me, so I go with the above. :santa:

H was actually used instead of B in some countries way back. I have relatives that says H note and not B (like my mother, for example). :santa:

I see that now :santa:

I tune to BDGCFAD. Before this set I was using Image+68 for low A (ADGCFAD then), and it was pretty cool for riffs. But, since then I started to use lots of trills on C and F strings for some stuff, so I wanted something more relaxed, and I must say that my current setup is killer :xx:

Not loose, nor too tight.

everyone should give some sort of nickel strings a shot, they really "pop" and keep their sound for a long while

I'm now tuned 60 -12 for C -Standard. Nice and taught on the lower strings but not to heavy at the top.
D'Addarios for the win 12-54
Got these as well as Ernie Ball 12-56's on my two geets. I think I prefer the D'Addarios. Really smooth feel and they last longer than the EB's for me.

:santa: I used Ernie Balls for a long time and they always snapped at the bridge. Maybe it's the strings or my technique is alot better but I've not snapped a string in years.

I've always used ernie balls for my 7 string but thinking about switching to these as the low B string is floppy as a cunt.

A different brand with the same gauge might do the trick as well.

Ernie Ball are very loose. They aren't called slinkys for nothing.

D'adarrio and GHS have a higher tension. DR are nice too.
