It's time to buy a new guitar!

The flying V has pissed me off for the last time. Soon it shall be sold and a new guitar will be purchased. My needs aren't that much to ask...



Passive pickups (unless they're somehow awesome, they'll be getting swapped out for Dimarzios, Seymour Duncans or Bare Knuckle pickups pending futher research)

Fixed bridge or string through

24 frets

Set neck or neck through construction



Those are the only things I definitely want. I've not got a great knowledge of woods so I'm not sure where to be going there. I was just going to test the guitars as they came up and judge then.



I've seen a couple of nice Ibanez guitars as well as another Washburn, but perhaps you good people have other suggestions.

First thing that came to my mind when I saw those specs would be ESP/LTD's line of EC-400 kintars. There are versions of said that come with passive pickups if you don't like EMGs. I'm not sure about their pricing over there in your area of residence so I wouldn't know about price recommendation.

What is your budget? Have you asked a quote from Ran Guitars or from Lootnick Guitars?

What is the amp you are using and the sound you are looking for? Can you describe that?

Comes w/duncans (JB & '59). Tried one out a shop once and thought it was a great player.

the RG1451 has everything you desire except a set neck. plus you're in europe so you can get it in the sexy white plaster finish!
