Frances the Mute is the modern day "In the Court of the Crimson King". That's right, I said it, if you disagree, sorry you lose.

I've heard a few songs by them and was not a fan.

i like what i have heard, which is not much, i'll need a further investigation to fully agree with this assessment

I always forget about them and never looked into them as much as I meant to

ryan and liz, get deloused in the comatorium to start with

considering the music i like, you may be surprised to know that I (know of but) have not heard this band.

I've heard their live shows go off, and the only song i had was their cover of Sugarcubes' "Birthday".

Unfortunately, it doesnt stand up to anything King Crimson has ever released. Its like a modern day, watered down In the Court of the Crimson King

I have heard the comparison to King Crimson many times and I think it is the moodiness, the mellotron, and the sax that makes people think of KC. And the fact that it is progressive rock.
