pantera appreciation in this period

I haven't listened to Pantera in for fucking ever, but I've been on a huge kick of them for the past week or so. Rhino needs to get in here and represent with me
This is most definitely the band that put me on the right track, as far as metal is concerned.

i didn't like much of their stuff after GSTK, but i loved their earlier material. i have to say, though, that the hard-on for them has gone quite limp over the years.

i dont listen to them as much as i did anymore, in fact i havent been a fanboy for about 3 years now or so. i just moved on... but i still love the cds and when i do spin them i get a great feeling... i jammed rts saturday night and it was fanfuckingtastic
i always thought RTS was underrated, but you could tell it was a band on their last legs

I used to be a huge fan boy from 6th to 11th grade but it waned there for a few years. Now I've been listening to them again and remembering how much all of their albums win.

GSTK is a pretty under-appreciated album. It came out right when bands were all going nu-metal, and it was unbelievably caustic. Loves me some Floods and Suicide Note Pt. 1.
But CFH, VDP, and FBD are unbelievably sick.

Whenever I crank up some Pantera these days, it's almost always FBD now as opposed to how it was always CFH or VDOP ways back.
