very VERY hard choice. i loove the darkness of the first 2, the progginess of Symbolic and especially ITP, and the balance between the 2 styles on Human.. damn

As I suspected it would, my opinion has changed to Symbolic because of the more immediately catchy songs like Crystal Mountain, 1000 Eyes and Misanthrope. It'll probably be different again tomorrow though, it almost seems like those albums could have been released by five different bands.

For those who haven't heard this: Death - Symbolic Demos - 2008 remaster (2008, Rapidshare)



Some rough riffage without vocals.

Symbolic was the first Death album I heard and was mighty close to taking the vote, but Leprosy has some badass riffs and song structure.



Plus: BORN DEAD :::::::::::

symbolic is my favorite when it comes down to it, that album is just perfection. when i listen to death lately though i usually go for leprosy or spiritual healing

I played out Death (and MA) when I first started into metal, and can't listen to them anymore (someday I will again). The Human album was the album that introduced me to death metal, so I will say that album.
