i've been talking to one of the dive bar owners around here for a while trying to get him to book more metal bands (and it's worked a few times, usually with smaller, 2nd and 3rd tier metal bands though)....
well, just found out today that he booked blackenedfest sans Mayhem (so: Marduk, Cephalic Carnage, Cattle Decapitation and Withered)
this ought to be neat considering this place holds maybe 250 people and the stage is only like 15X!5 or something utterly ridiculous like that.

Oh fuck Im going to the lummo's cowtown show.
We just had Cannibal Corpse and co. at Freebird and that stage doesnt fit a 3 piece band. Fischer took up over half the stage himself.
