Protector -a forgotten legend?

There were so many cool German thrashers....
I always favoured the german thrash scene over the US bands like athrophy, mordred, forbidden etc....
Kreator, Protector, living death, Deathrow, destruction, sodom, despair all very ancient but cool stuff.
Not saying there were no US bands i like. I love dark Angel (one of my favorite bands), Testament, old sacred reich, Recipients of death.
