i haven't listened to these hoes in an age

i listened to them for like twelve seconds back in the day, i had zero concrete memories of any of their musical vibes

but i find myself back in the extreme metal groove during the now period and so i am jamming them and they are making me make metal faces

i liked starspawn and that hidden history jawn but i don't know that i've given anything past those a serious listen

will i see them again when they open for emperor on that tour

no, probably not

the elitist in me hears the old school dm worship and gets annoyed but they are absolutely cool

yes i had an awesome fucking night that night

IE + Starspawn is still the greatest debut I have heard in the last 15 or so years. No one else blends Demilich, Lykathea Aflame, Timeghoul and classic Morbid riffs into a cohesive sound like them. Only band I followed so closely for like 9+ years.

But I gotta be honest I don't care for their recent musical experiments. That luminescent bridge single and the last album made me lose interest tremendously. Riff quality came down significantly imho.

I finally listened to the hoes. Alien worship at its techiest, deaththroes. Being abducted by a shiny saucer seems so fun.
